Expert
Dr. Andrea Riester
Born 1976; studied social anthropology, economics and political science in Freiburg and Glasgow; since 2004 working at GIZ in a project on migration and development as technical advisor on remittances as well as on migration and gender; received her PhD in social anthropology from the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle/Wittenberg in 2011 on south-south-migration, displacement and (re-)integration of migrants in West Africa.
