Expert
Dr. Maria-Carmen Pantea
Born 1976. PhD in Sociology, Romania MSc in Evidence Based Social Interventions (Oxford) MA with Merit in Gender Studies (CEU, Budapest). Fields of expertise: migration, labour policies, youth, gender and Roma minority. She worked as a consultant for CoE, UNIFEM and for The Centre for Strategy & Evaluation Services, Kent where she currently is a member of the expert panel and researcher for the evaluation of the European Migration Network.
Maria-Carmen Pantea authors articles on transnational families, migration and Roma exclusion. She published in Young, European Journal of Social Work, Journal of Evidence-Based Social Work and Romani Studies. At present, she is an LGI OSI Fellow doing policy research on Reintegration Initiatives for Returning Roma Migrants.
