Prof. Laura Oso Casas
Laura Oso Casas holds doctoral degrees in Sociology from the University of La Sorbonne (2002) and the University of A Coruña (1997). She currently holds the post of Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Sociology at the University of A Coruña, where she has been teaching and researching since 1995. She has worked as a consultant for various international organisations (OECD, the European Union, UNESCO). Her research work has focused mainly on gender and migration and the insertion of the immigrant population on the labour market (domestic service, prostitution, ethnic entrepreneurship).
