PhD Elisabeta Zelinka

I am a lecturer in German, British and American Studies and in Human Rights.

My professional work includes my PhD, two MAs in Gender and Human Rights studies. I have completed field work on the topic of human rights issues at the "International Centre for Transitional Justice" --New York and "Human Rights Watch",--New York (Roma integration in the Balkans, gender discrimination, police brutality), gender and sexual discrimination in Romania at the "Association for the Promotion of Women in Romania"-- Timisoara, Romania and Roman integration and education issues at the "Intercultural Institute Timisoara"-- Romania. I worked for 2 years at the largest refugee camp in Hungary in Bicske, as a volunteer social worker and as a language teacher. I completed an internship at the "Mahatma Gandi Human Rights Organisation"—Budapest, Hungary on the issues of cultural and educational integration of African refugees in Hungary. I graduated different summer schools and scholarships, trainings on International, Post 9/11 Terrorism, International Politics and International Relations.
