Dr. Birgit Jagusch

Born 1976. Study of political science, history and culture/communications in Duisburg and Portsmouth (GB). Between 2001-2010 working as a consultant for the information and documentation centre for work against racism (IDA) in Düsseldorf; since 2010 research assistant at the ism. Amongst the work priorities are the organisation and implementation of conferences and workshops concerning questions of (anti-) racism and intercultural learning, the consulting of youth organisations in the process of implementing institutional and organisational interculturalism and the qualification of organisations of young migrants to be able to participate actively and on an equal level in the German system of child- and youth care.
